Driver improvement in Maryland, online

The Maryland Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is an MVA-approved course for drivers who receive an MVA points letter that names DIP, or who are referred to it by a Maryland court. AllSafe Driving School offers the program 100% online, so drivers in every Maryland county and Baltimore City can finish the coursework from a phone, tablet, or computer without going to a classroom.

The cost is a $60 flat rate with free unlimited retakes. After the coursework, you take a live video final of about 20 minutes between 8 AM and 8 PM Eastern. The same day you pass, we report your completion directly to the Maryland MVA.

Who needs the Driver Improvement Program in Maryland?

  • Drivers with a 5 to 7 point MVA letter that names DIP.
